Ambien (Zolpidem) is a medication with a calming effect. It is a sleep-inducing drug that belongs to the group of imidazopyridines, functioning as a specific agonist. Indications

Dosage and Administration
Tablets should be taken orally, just before bedtime. A single dose is 10 mg. For elderly patients or those with impaired liver function, therapy should start with a 5 mg dose, which can be increased to 10 mg if the clinical effect is insufficient and the drug is well tolerated. The maximum dose is 10 mg per day.
