Common use

Risperidone belongs to the atypical antipsychotics. This medication is used to treat schizophrenia and bipolar disorder as well as irritability associated with autistic disorder in children and adolescents aged 5-16 years. It can be also applied in other cases.

Dosage and direction

Take Risperdal by mouth with a glass of water, with or without food. Avoid cutting, crushing or chewing this medicine. Do not take the medicine more often than it is prescribed. Precautions
